Today’s charity is America’s Second Harvest, an organization that manages more than 200 regional food banks and rescue programs across the U.S. Every year, ASH distributes nearly 2 billion pounds of donated food.

Living in an urban area, I see the effects of hunger every day and most of the time I feel helpless to do anything. It shocks me when I am confronted with the fact that hunger and homelessness is so rampant in what is believed to be a world power. Hunger is not power.

ASH is fighting the good fight to reduce hunger in the U.S. Please help them with your donation of money or time.
