Leaving On A Jet Plane

Consumatron is on vacation until Jan. 11th, 2008. Then the resolutions begin.

Suggestions for a unique trip to NY would be greatly appreciated in the interim.

The view from Williamsburg to Manhattan over the water is beautiful, but cold.

There is an ancient rock in a central church but I forget where… I suppose that would be like a one-item scavenger hunt.

Grand Central Station is beautiful and you can whisper from one corner to the other in front of the Oyster Bar on the way to the underground place. In the main area, they have cleaned all the ceiling so you can see the constellations again, but they left one spot black on the edge where they wanted to show you what a good job they did.

What else. Hm. Chuckm and I went for an iceslide last winter in Central Park. I would highly recommend that. I’d link to the ORG, but um, you know.

For a more usual, but truly worth-it experience, the Met and the MOMA are both amazing museums.

Hang out wif me! I work from home so I have lots of flexibility. The cold knocks out a few cheapy fun things, but if you’re willing to cross the river to Brooklyn, I can show you some fun ony mturf.

Drat, I’ve never been to NY, so I’ve got….nuttin’. Go West, young man!

My resolutions are to work out an hour a day, be kinder to people, stop watching so much tv, floss after every meal, organize my shoe cupboard, and make a million.
So far I’m doing really well on flossing…:p

    Miss you! Be safe.
