Review: Do you know what I hate?
Besides Starbucks Coffee… I know you already know that.
I hate the fact that I can’t go to my local supermarket and buy a bag of wild rice! Super? I think not.
That’s not all, either! Instead of a small bag of wild rice, I have to settle for a wild/white rice mixture that costs more than the sum of both of it’s parts! Sergei Eisenstein would be proud.
Complaining aside, this rice is not only tasty, but Riceselect claims to uphold values of organic and sustainable farming. All of the rice is grown in the U.S., which makes this almost as local as you can get when it comes to rice. Beyond those two bits of information that calms the intensity of the price in my mind, this rice mixture has a great full grain-and-nut flavor and cooks rather quickly, considering the mixture.
To top it off, the container is a nice size and will come in handy as a reusable kitchen jar.
