Review: This flakey scone used to be available back when I first stepped into a Caribou Coffee when I moved down to Chicago. It may even be the first solid food I tried from a Caribou establishment. That is a major event, much like moving from baby mush to solid cereal! The problem is that Caribou pulled this from their menu a while back and I haven’t seen these things in a while. Well, it’s back! That makes me one happy coffee addict. The dough is a light buttermilk and crumbles to the lightest touch but the subtly sweet cinnamon chips and light dusting of sugar on top make me scoop up every crumb every time.
