Review: This sandwich is served on that white bread that tastes like it has been cured like a ham. The crust has the glossy look of petroleum jelly smothered fast food during a menu photo shoot. The taste, however, is not as disgusting as all of this sounds. Same applies for the egg salad. The egg is not mushy like you are prone to get at other convenience stores and/or truck stops. As not a very big fan of mayonnaise, I even enjoy the amount, consistency, and taste of whatever kind of mayo or substitute 7-Eleven uses. All in all, an affordable sandwich with a great taste. Egg salad always reminds me of construction workers eating their lunches while sitting on stray I-beams, and though I couldn’t eat this sandwich every day, every once in a while, it feels good to imagine I am wearing a hardhat and dirty coveralls.

I LOVE 7 Eleven Egg Salad! I found it one day when I was an intern and regular fast food was way too expensive. Anyway it makes a great lunch with some hot cheetos and limeade (big gulp of course). Strange but true.
